What 2010 Will Bring (in addition to a new camera)

So, our camera broke.  And it wasn't from letting Mehandis take bunches of pictures over the holidays!  We dropped it and now all new pics just are a black screen.  Therefore, picture-free this post will be.

I recently read someone's blog entry that shared their "expectations" for 2010.  Expectations sound positive... and I could use a little pick me up... so let's give it a shot.

In 2010:

Michael will hire an additional sales person for his company.

I will have more free time after school and Michael will be a board member on one less board.

Mehandis will likely be tall enough to reach the light switches, learn how to spell his name (a tall feat with such a variety of letters), know whenever a word is skipped in one of his favorite books and hopefully not to big to still carry in my arms.

Wisconsin will have a new governor (I think this is happening soon... been hearing about it for a while now!)

The people of Haiti will struggle to find pieces of hope and relief organizations will struggle to provide relief.

Sunday school will begin for Mehandis.  Public school will still be another year from now.

Everyone will completely tire of Kate Gosselin and her "new" show will be cancelled.

Conan O'Brian will "make it"  but Jay Leno will not.

My dad will get good news from his blood tests.

My mom will get hired by an organization she volunteers for.

We will bring the word "vacation" back into our family and better yet go on one (or two)!

Our closets will get further emptier, basement tidier and wallets fuller with our latest Craig's List craze.

A photo of a boy or girl will be emailed to us, printed in mass by us, every millimeter studied and permanently implanted into our memory.

A memory of a baby will be all that a family is left with.

We will create many new memories, grieve losses, celebrate milestones, struggle with changes and keep learning together as a family of 3 (and possibly 4... by year's end).
